Hoping you are all fine. Since our II TERM II HALF is coming to an end and we have missed some classes, please follow these instructions to complete our class plans.
GRAMMAR
Review of ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS
Cut and paste a text written in English from any magazine article on a paper and identify all adjectives and adverbs in them. Your text should be of ten sentences minimum. Classify the type of adjective as OPINION, SIZE, AGE, SHAPE, COLOR, ORIGIN, MATERIAL or PURPOSE. Classify the type of adverb as ADVERB OF MANNER (how?) ADVERB OF TIME (when?) ADVERB OF PLACE (where?) or ADVERB OF NEGATION (no)
READING
Lesson 6 is about PHILANTHROPY
Search for the word meaning and write the name of ten people who are famous philanthropists. Choose ONE of these people and summarize in your words how he or she has helped change the world with his/her contribution.
COMPOSITION
Think about the songs that we worked in class THE LOGICAL SONG by Supertramp and NOWHERE MAN by Beatles. Reflect about the messages transmitted in the songs, choose one and give your opinion.
If you choose THE LOGICAL SONG explain what the song talks about and express your opinion about what is your life purpose agreeing or disagreeing with the message of the song.
If you choose NOWHERE MAN explain who is a nowhere man in your words, what happens to him, does he have a solution? Give examples of people that become NO ONES
Make sure your text is organized, coherent, grammar errors free and basically that you state a clear opinion. (15 lines minimum)
