GRAMMAR - READING - COMPOSITION
Hello everybody!!
This is a note to review the activities done so far and information for the ones to come.
GRAMMAR
Activities already done:
* Pronouns: Exercises done in class: from page 403 to 415, exercises 2, 3, 5,7,9, 11,13.
Pop Quiz done in class: Review from page 417 to 421, exercises 1, 3,4,5,6,8.
* Irregular Verbs Quiz / January.
Next week, we will start UNIT 12: ADJECTIVES
READING
* Lesson #4: Animal Intelligence: Instinct or Intellect?
Workbook activities should be completed up to page 81
Next week, sections B and C will have a dictation about the lesson.
Next week, all groups will write a composition about the topic using the new vocabulary.
COMPOSITION
* 14 Years of History / Character and Event. Activity done in class.
* MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. mixed map (pair activity) All pairs had to hand in this activity
this week. (Jan. 28-31)
* WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE - Research and oral presentation
Students will be assigned between 5 or 6 names mentioned in the song which students will need to
research about and learn to share that information in an activity called ROUND TABLE.
* VENEZUELAN PRIDE project - Research and group oral presentation/poster preparation.
Students will be organized in groups of 4 to research and prepared information about Venezuela´s
culture and famous characters. Activity will be organized in class and students will work on their
posters in class next week (Feb. 4-7.) Oral presentations will be scheduled a week after.
NOTE: Instructions and doubts will be clarified in class.
